Our 2016 Zipping for Autism was a great success, and it’s all because of you!
The 5th annual Zipping for Autism, hosted by The Adventure Center of Ashville, raised close to $20,000 on Sunday, June 5, to support the Autism Society of North Carolina’s efforts in western North Carolina. Click here for WLOS on-site coverage of the event.
Sheena and Jeff Greiner of The Adventure Center of Asheville created Zipping for Autism to make a difference for local children and families. Zipping for Autism was born in western NC, and all of the proceeds remain in the region. Camp Lakey Gap will also receive funds from the event to provide scholarships for campers from the Western Carolina Region.
The event gave over 150 participants a chance to enjoy ziplining and climb, zip, walk, jump, swing, and rappel over 30 towering trees and poles as they enjoyed the treetops adventure park.
We would like to thank the following sponsors for their continued support.
- Area Sponsors: Adventure Center of Asheville, Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort of Asheville, Wells Fargo, Prestige Subaru, Linville Falls Winery, FastSigns Asheville
- Canopy Sponsors: Wild Wing Café, Native Kitchen & Social Pub, and Fairway Outdoor Advertising
