Join us for the 10th annual WNC Run/Walk for Autism on Saturday, Sept. 12, at UNC-Asheville! Note the new start time this year: 1:30 p.m.

As many as 1 in 58 children may be diagnosed with autism in North Carolina. You can make a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families by registering for the WNC Run/Walk for Autism. Registration is $25, but you can make an even bigger impact by recruiting family members, friends, and co-workers to form a team and raise donations — now is the time to start!

Proceeds from the WNC Run/Walk for Autism will fund local programs of the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC), the leading statewide resource organization serving the over 65,000 people in NC across the spectrum throughout their lifespans. Everyone knows someone affected by autism — maybe your brother, cousin, friend at school, neighbor, or co-worker. Join others on Sept. 12 to make a difference in the life of someone you care about with ASD. You can help!

The WNC Run/Walk for Autism will have something for everyone! Join us for the Diamond Brand 5K race, which is part of the Asheville Track Club Grand Prix, or the recreational 1K run/walk. The family-friendly event will also offer a Fun Zone, music, refreshments, and vendor space where local support resources are showcased. Come be a part of our community for this fun day!

Join us 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Wild Wing Cafe, 65 Long Shoals Road in Asheville, for a buffet with 100% of proceeds going to the event. Dinner will be $11.95 per person and is open to non-race participants as well. Packet pickup and onsite registration will be available.
