Do You Believe In Magic?
I ask because today was the most magical day ever!! The weather did manage to keep a few folks away but magic was in the air !! TEAM CHESTER lost two members last night due to Covid !!! What an awful disease and I feel awful for Joanna and Nick Koch who had to drop out of the race. TEAM CHESTER is behind you, sending good thoughts and hopes for speedy recovery.
Magically, up walk two lovely people named Kevin and Lynne, who had joined the Run/Walk for ASNC but wanted to walk for TEAM CHESTER !! What a bonus, right?
That ain't all, folks! TEAM CHESTER had two competitive winners today before the start of the Fun Run. Sebastian Spellman won first place in the men's 5K for his age group and Thomas Stewart won second place in the men's 5K for his age group. These are some extraordinary runners because both of them had run a cross country event just yesterday! I apologize but I can only upload one picture, so we don't have our guys in their triumph. Lesson learned for next year.
Needless to say, what could have been a really bad day was magically turned into a great day. I've loved every minute of being your team captain and I plan to do it again next year too. I hope you'll all join me.
Lots of love and good thoughts for this upcoming year!
