Triangle Run/Walk for Autism

Davey's Dudes

David (Davey) is our cars and trucks obsessed, Lego and Super Mario loving 5-year-old boy. He is everything you can hope for in a son: kind, gentle, and very bright. Mommy is his safe haven. Daddy and he are “best buds” as they call themselves. Alongside little sister Elena, they are partners in crime when they’re not fighting like siblings.

Davey was diagnosed with Autism last year. Since then, we’ve embarked on a rewarding yet at times arduous journey filled with laughs, tears, and everything in between. He has come incredibly far on his journey, and it’s only the beginning. One of the books he likes to read with mommy is Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”. He WILL be off to great places someday!

We will be participating virtually in the Autism Society of NC’s Triangle Run/Walk for Autism this October. We can’t stress enough how wonderful this organization is. Information about the ASNC can be found below. Please consider donating and helping us achieve our fundraising goal. Thank you so much for your support!

The Autism Society of North Carolina is the leading statewide resource organization serving people across the autism spectrum throughout their lifespans.

We understand the challenges of the autism community because we work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day. We offer advocacy, training and education, and direct care that helps individuals with autism to, increase their social and communication skills, develop independent-living skills, succeed in school or on the job, participate in community activities, and advocate for themselves.

We have a statewide network of resources, connecting individuals with autism and their families to life-changing programs and supports unavailable anywhere else.
