Every day, new families learn their children have autism. The Autism Society of North Carolina is their best resource and needs your support! I am part of a team participating in the Greensboro Run/Walk for Autism, and I am hoping you will donate through my team. The event is Saturday, Sept. 29, in Greensboro.
This is a cause that has become near and dear to my heart. The people within Autism Society of North Carolina, have done great work providing thousands of individuals and families affected by autism in our state with resources.
You can make it possible for an Autism Resource Specialist to comfort distressed parents after their child’s diagnosis.
You can make it possible for a child with autism to learn new skills and make friends.
You can even make it possible for an adult with autism to live and work independently.
Please help me reach my goal!

The Autism Society of North Carolina is the leading statewide resource organization serving people across the autism spectrum throughout their lifespans.
We understand the challenges of the autism community because we work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day. We offer advocacy, training and education, and direct care that helps individuals with autism to, increase their social and communication skills, develop independent-living skills, succeed in school or on the job, participate in community activities, and advocate for themselves.
We have a statewide network of resources, connecting individuals with autism and their families to life-changing programs and supports unavailable anywhere else.
