2018 Triangle Run/Walk for Autism

Jake's Pit Crew

Jake's Pit Crew is a first year team organized by his sisters, Ashley and Caroline. Jake is 21 years old, born and raised in North Carolina. His love for all things on wheels took hold when Jake was very young and continues to be his passion. Some of his hobbies include collecting model cars, going to car shows around the Triangle, and hanging out with his family and dog, Bella.

From the time Jake was born, his family was told he would never be able to do everyday things such as talk and write, and that Jake would be faced with a life time of struggles. Defying all odds against him, Jake graduated High School in 2016 and now has a part time job. Jake is proof that with hope and love, all things are possible.

Ashley and Caroline, both seniors in Highschool, were inspired by their brother to create Jake's Pit Crew to participate in the 2018 Run/Walk for Autism. Jake is supported by his family including his mom, dad, step parents, sisters, and brother. Jake is what makes his family whole and without him their puzzle would be missing a piece.

We walk for Jake with hope to raise awareness and acceptance for all people with Autism. All donations towards our team are greatly appreciated and no amount is too small. We hope you will walk with us.

Thank you for supporting the Triangle Run/Walk for Autism. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
