2018 WNC Run/Walk for Autism

Team Fairview

"The folks at ASNC have always treated me well, but most importantly the workers you have employed have treated my brother Marcus very well.  I know your job isn't easy but I appreciate so much what the agency as a collective has donr for my Marcus.  As his closest blood relative, it is imperative for me to be in his life and know he is doing well.  So I'd like to thank the agency and the fine people for what they do and continue to do daily." - Michael Danner, Brother

Team Fairview is excited to be a part of the 2018 WNC Run/Walk for
Autism.  The Fairview House is a supported living home started in 2005 and managed by the Autism Society. It supports three Autistic men in a home setting.  With the amazing help and direction of the staff from the Autism Society, they are able to live as independently as they can with knowledgeable supervision. Living at the Fairview allows these men to feel the confidence and positive self esteem that comes from being responsible for taking care of their own home, working and volunteering in the community, keeping healthy exercise routines and just hanging out playing games or watching a movie.

Please consider donating to help the Autism Society of NC continue to improve the lives of autistic individuals, support their families, and educate the general public.

We hope to see you at the Run/Walk for Autism on September 8!Team Fairview is excited to be a part of the 2018 WNC Run/Walk for Autism.

The Autism Society of North Carolina is the leading statewide resource organization serving people across the autism spectrum throughout their lifespans.

We understand the challenges of the autism community because we work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day. We offer advocacy, training and education, and direct care that helps individuals with autism to, increase their social and communication skills, develop independent-living skills, succeed in school or on the job, participate in community activities, and advocate for themselves.

We have a statewide network of resources, connecting individuals with autism and their families to life-changing programs and supports unavailable anywhere else.
