Hi my name is Briana and I started this Fundraising Page in honor of my son Caden. Caden was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. This journey has been a learning experience not only for Caden, but for his family and I. We try to take things one day at a time and celebrate Caden for all of his progress. I wanted to start this Fundraising page this year to support the Autism Society and other children with autsim and their families. I know how difficult, yet rewarding, this journey can be. I want to give back to the Autism Society so that they can continue to help other children and families like mines. I would love for my passion and love for all children on the spectrum and their families to be shown through this fundraising opportunity and I would be honored if I could meet my goal for this year. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for supporting the Easetern Run/Walk for Autism. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
The Autism Society of North Carolina is the leading statewide resource organization serving people across the autism spectrum throughout their lifespans.
We understand the challenges of the autism community because we work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day. We offer advocacy, training and education, and direct care that helps individuals with autism to, increase their social and communication skills, develop independent-living skills, succeed in school or on the job, participate in community activities, and advocate for themselves.
We have a statewide network of resources, connecting individuals with autism and their families to life-changing programs and supports unavailable anywhere else.
