This will be the 14th year Team Marlowe Place has participated in the WNC Run/Walk for Autism, and we are excited once again to join other families in WNC in supporting the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC.) Our team is made up of the Men of Marlowe Place, the amazing staff of Marlowe Place (past and present), and the extended families and friends of Marlowe Place.
Located in Asheville, Marlowe Place is a supported living home that is managed by ASNC. The parents of the residents own the home, and the staff provide residential supports as well as supportive employment. The staff are hired by ASNC and receive training and support provided by ASNC.
Please consider donating to help the Autism Society of NC continue to improve the lives of autistic individuals, support their families, and educate the general public.
Hope you can join us on Sept 11th !
The Autism Society of North Carolina is the leading statewide resource organization serving people across the autism spectrum throughout their lifespans.
We understand the challenges of the autism community because we work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day. We offer advocacy, training and education, and direct care that helps individuals with autism to, increase their social and communication skills, develop independent-living skills, succeed in school or on the job, participate in community activities, and advocate for themselves.
We have a statewide network of resources, connecting individuals with autism and their families to life-changing programs and supports unavailable anywhere else.
